Ann Gish is best known for her exquisite detailing and construction,
along with the use of luxurious and innovative fabrics and designs. Ann Gish is considered by many to be the consummate leader in the creation of
contemporary silk bedding and decorative pillows. The
practical elegance of her design has affected the way beds and bed
accessories are presented in the marketplace today.
Ann Gish started her business in 1991 and is represented in the finest home stores, specified by leading interior designers and featured in hotels world wide. Originally run by Ann, the company is now in the hands of her daughter Jane. Famous for their crushed tafetta and dupioni silks, they have continued to evolve and expand. Besides their well known luxury top of the bed linens and pillows, they have created Art of the Home, a line of incredibly well priced groups of coverlet sets, duvet cover sets, sheeting and decorative pillows. . Recently added is their lyocell quilts, sheets and duvets in classic and vibrant colors to mix and match in a bedroom.
In 2021, They formed a collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MOMA) in New York City. Called The Met X Ann Gish, they have interpreted major selected works from the museum's vast collection into textiles. Weaves, embroderies and prints dominate this line of decorator pillows, duvets and foot quilts.
