Kim Seybert's Otomi Placemat has a story to tell. Inspired by the vivid iconography found in traditional Otomi embroidery, colorful beading depicts images of flora and fauna native to the Otomi region of Mexico. Wooden, glass and acrylic beads in brown, taupe, red and turquoise tones are mixed with raffia to create this round placemat with a dynamic folkloric quality. 45% Glass Beads, 30% Plastic Beads, 15% Wood Beads, 10% Raffia. 15.25" Length x 15.25" Width x 0.25" Height.
